23 to 26 July 2026 – We are delighted that you are interested in the anniversary celebrations in Heidelberg and hope to welcome you in the summer!

I AM NEITHER REGISTERED WITH HAI NOR GDF. CAN I STILL ATTEND “30 YEARS HAI”?
To register for “30 Years HAI” you need to be a member of either HAI or GdF – unless you are joining as an accompanying person of a member. Otherwise, you will not be able to register.
You can sign up for free with HAI if you are or were a student, employee, lecturer or researcher at Heidelberg University. 
If you have no connection to the university but still feel attached to it and the city, you can join the Society of Friends.
MY ACCOMPANYING PERSON IS NOT A MEMBER OF HAI OR GDF. CAN I, AS A HAI MEMBER, BRING A NON-HAI MEMBER FOR “30 YEARS HAI”?
Yes – your accompanying persons can, but do not have to be a HAI or GdF member.
CAN I CHECK ON THE STATUS OF MY REGISTRATION?
Yes – upon registration, you will receive a personalised link with which you can check on the status of your registration at all times.
ARE REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE MANDATORY?

A registration for “30 Years HAI” is mandatory. All payments must be made before the start of the event. There is no compulsory attendance for individual events. If there are any changes in your plans for attendance, please let us know as soon as possible so we can react accordingly:

  • Change/cancel the booking yourself via your personalised link
  • Or contact us via email and we will take care of the rest for you.
I SIGNED UP FOR “30 YEARS HAI”, BUT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND. WHAT DO I DO?

If there are any changes in your plans for attendance, please let us know as soon as possible so we can react accordingly:

  • Change/cancel the booking yourself via your personalised link
  • Or contact us via email and we will take care of the rest for you.
WHEN BOOKING “30 YEARS HAI”, I PROVIDED AN E-MAIL ADDRESS FOR MY COMPANION, BUT HE/SHE IS NOT RECEIVING ANY E-MAILS ABOUT THE BOOKING. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

After your booking has been confirmed, the booking system should send messages to all the email addresses you provided when making the booking.  If your companion does not receive any messages from the ticket system, please check via your individual booking link: 

  • if there is a typo in the email address provided
  • if a separate email address has actually been provided for the accompanying person

In addition, your companion should check whether the messages have ended up in the spam folder of their email account.

If this does not solve the problem, please contact us by e-mail.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR ME?
The ticket price for “30 Years HAI” covers all events including the catering offered. There will be additional costs at the Ruperto Carola summer party, where food and beverages will be sold by the Studierendenwerk Heidelberg. Excluded from that will be the reception at the expense of the university. If you plan on consuming food or beverages not part of the catering during the Riverboat Shuffle, you will have to pay for them by yourself. The responsibility for all travel-, accommodation- and food costs during your stay lies with you.
WILL THE PRICE BE REDUCED IF I DO NOT ATTEND ALL FOR DAYS?
No – registration and particiption fee apply to the entire period of the four days. A reduced price is not possible, even if you will not attend on all days.
DO I NEED TO SIGN UP SEPERATELY FOR THE INDIVIDUAL EVENTS OFFERED?
Yes – once your payment is completed, we will inform you via email about the details of the events and their respective registration process. Admission for the events will be granted in order of registration.
