Anniversary 2026 Privacy Statement
For the anniversary event “30 Years HAI” organised by Heidelberg Alumni International (HAI)

The protection of your personal data is important to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you about its processing.
The data collected via the application form is – unless marked as voluntary – required for processing the handling of the “30 Years HAI” anniversary event and for your individual event registration. The registration data collected is processed and stored by the provider of the software used at the university (pretix).
You will recognize this when you are redirected to another website and the recipient does not belong to Heidelberg University. In such cases, the entity collecting the data is itself responsible for compliance with data protection regulations. The Alumni office of Heidelberg University has only access to this data as it performs an organisational or advisory role.
If it is necessary for the admission to an event offered as part of “30 Years HAI”, the data will be forwarded to the admitting body / responsible person. In addition, the data may be shared with the cooperation partner of the respective programme item for the purpose of individual event management.
