Anniversary 2006 10 Years of HAI: A First Homecoming
On the occasion of HAI's tenth birthday, the university invited its alumni to a five-day reunion – for the first time since HAI was founded in 1996. Around 200 alumnae and alumni from all over the world traveled to Heidelberg to celebrate together from 22 to 27 July 2006.
The university opened very special doors for a varied program: faculties invited visitors to immerse themselves in the academic atmosphere of the Neckar city. Institutes made it possible to return to places of past study and research times. The academic community provided a glimpse behind the scenes and offered interesting lectures. The program was rounded off with training courses and discussions with professors. And of course there was plenty of opportunity to celebrate, refresh old friendships and make new ones.
