23 to 26 July 2026 – We are expecting numerous guests from all over the world to come to Heidelberg for the HAI anniversary. Therefore, please make sure to book your accommodation in good time.
To help you find accommodation for the anniversary celebrations, we have reserved a block of rooms in various hotels in Heidelberg in cooperation with Heidelberg Marketing. The block includes hotels in all categories and booking classes. The hotels are located throughout the city. In addition, you can find alternative accommodation in Heidelberg and the surrounding area yourself using the usual platforms and the tips below. All information on this page is merely a selection and does not imply any evaluation or recommendation.
Overview
ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg
The ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg, located in the immediate vicinity of the main train station, offers ideal accommodation in elegant rooms. The city centre can be reached quickly and easily by bus or tram. The building is one of the world's first high-rise hotels to meet passive house standards, making it particularly sustainable. The hotel has barrier-free rooms, and all public areas are also barrier-free. Hotel guests have access to an exclusive fitness and wellness area. All rooms are equipped with free high-speed WiFi, air conditioning and coffee and tea making facilities. Dogs are welcome for a fee. Cars can be parked in one of the hotel's underground car parks (subject to a fee).

Hotel Holländer Hof
The Hotel Holländer Hof in the old town has comfortably furnished rooms equipped with shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, minibar, telephone, free WiFi, radio, TV, safe and soundproof windows. The rooms up to the 3rd floor are easily accessible by lift, while the top floor with its fantastic view is accessible via stairs. Some rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Barrier-free rooms are available for wheelchair users. Laundry service, a business corner with free internet terminal and printer round off the amenities. Dogs are also welcome for an additional charge. All rooms are non-smoking. Cars can be parked in one of the nearby car parks (subject to a fee).

Leonardo Heidelberg City Center
The Leonardo Heidelberg City Centre in Bergheim is just a few minutes' walk from the old town and the shopping mile on Hauptstraße. The rooms offer a unique view of the city and the surrounding area and most of them have a balcony. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi, as well as practical extras such as a cosmetic mirror, luxury spa toiletries and a large desk. Pets are allowed for a fee. The breakfast restaurant and hotel bar cater to your culinary needs. The hotel is non-smoking and offers a 24-hour reception. The underground car park with access to the hotel offers convenient parking.

Meininger Hotel Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof
The MEININGER Hotel Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof is approximately a 10-minute walk from the main railway station, and the city centre can be reached quickly and easily by bus or tram. The accommodation offers modern facilities. All rooms have their own bathroom. Pets are allowed in private rooms for a fee. Both the rooms and the public areas are barrier-free. Luggage storage is also available for guests. A 24-hour service ensures that assistance is available around the clock. Free and fast Wi-Fi is also available. The hotel is non-smoking and cashless. Parking is available outside for a fee.

Staycity Aparthotel Heidelberg
The Staycity Aparthotel is located approximately 10 minutes' walk from the main railway station and just a few tram stops from Heidelberg's old town. In addition to classic hotel rooms, there are also comfortable 1- and 2-bed apartments with fully equipped kitchens and living, dining and working areas. Bathrooms with towels and toiletries, bed linen, high-speed WiFi and smart TVs are standard features in all accommodations. In addition to a 24-hour reception, the aparthotel has parking spaces, a charging station for electric cars, a self-service laundrette and the Staycafé, which offers a breakfast buffet and a wide selection of snacks, pizza, soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits.

Bayrischer Hof
The Bayrischer Hof is located in the Heidelberg city center, bordering the old town. Multiple tram stops are in the immediate vicinity; the central station is also close by. The hotel has single and double rooms, all of which include a fully equipped bathroom with care products and towels, as well as modern furnishings with desk, telephone, a TV with streaming options and a safe. A breakfast buffet is offered every morning. Guests can also use the free WIFI and, for an additional charge, the hotel offers laundry and ironing service. Check-in is possible 24/7. Private parking is available nearby.

PLAZA Premium Heidelberg
The PLAZA Premium is centrally located near Heidelberg’s old town and therefore well connected to public transport and the central station. The hotel offers modernly furnished single, double and triple rooms as well as suites. All rooms have a fully equipped bathroom with towels, care products and a rain shower. They also feature a minibar, a kettle with a tea and coffee station and a TV. There is also the option of choosing a room with a balcony and view of the castle. Other services include a breakfast restaurant, a gym and a rooftop bar. The reception is open 24/7. Parking is available in the hotel’s own garage.

Booking
Bookings for all hotels can be made online at Heidelberg Marketing via the link below. Enter your arrival and departure dates and the number of guests on the booking page and select your preferred hotel from the overview. Click on ‘Details & Book’ to view further information about the selected hotel. Then click on ‘Book’ and fill out the form. The booking will be sent directly to the hotel and your room will be reserved for you, subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation message from the hotel at the email address you provided.
You are responsible for your own booking. Heidelberg Alumni International cannot guarantee that rooms will be available at the hotel of your choice at the time of your booking. Rooms are allocated directly by the hotels – not by HAI.
Please note: all rooms in this block are only reserved for a limited period of time. Any rooms that are not booked will be returned to the hotels after the respective deadlines and made available to the general public. From this point onwards, we will unfortunately no longer be able to offer you the block service. Thank you for your understanding.
