Make a donation to enable international young researchers and former visiting researchers to spend a short period of time in Heidelberg at the university or at one of the research institutions close to the university in order to explore opportunities for scientific cooperation or to initiate new research projects.
Modern science requires global exchange, international projects and strong networks. Heidelberg University offers the best conditions for this and, together with the resident research institutions, acts like a magnet for highly motivated scientists from all over the world. For young researchers, a stay in Heidelberg is often the start of a promising international career. 64 scientists from 28 countries have already been able to initiate research projects with this scholarship programme and at the same time expand their scientific networks during a short stay in Heidelberg. Every donation to HAIreconnect makes a significant contribution to maintaining and expanding the lively and diverse research landscape at Ruperto Carola and could also be an incentive for a significant career.
