Doctorate

Acceptance to a doctoral programme is contingent on candidates having previously completed a university degree programme. The doctoral examination is an academic examination which, if successfully completed, culminates in conferral of a doctorate.

Part-Time Study

Heidelberg University would like to enable students to study at their own pace. As a framework for this, we offer you the opportunity to study part-time.

Short-Term Study

If you would like to study for a short time at Heidelberg University without obtaining a degree, there is the possibility of a so-called short-term study. Short-term studies are only aimed at international students.

Parallel study

"Schülerstudium" is an additional educational opportunity for particularly gifted or interested pupils who, in addition to attending school, want to gain their first experience at a university.
