Department 8.2: Donor Relations and Guesthouses

This department coordinates relations with the university’s donors as well as fundraising and sponsoring activities. One particular focus is on the funding projects of individual donors and patrons, for which close end-to-end support is provided. Additionally, contact with the university’s volunteer staff as well as the funders and recipients of the “Deutschland­stipendium” scholarship is continually maintained. Additionally, the department oversees the management and maintenance of the university’s guest houses in Neuenheimer Feld. The accommodation of visiting scientists and scholars and newly appointed professors is of great importance to the university and part of the welcoming culture of Ruperto Carola.
