On May 20, 2026, Heidelberg University will host the fourth IMPACT DAY – a central forum for innovation, transfer and networking in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. In the newly opened audiMAX, the impressive heart of the university on the medical and natural sciences campus in Neuenheimer Feld, guests from science, business, politics and society will experience Heidelberg's innovative power up close. High-calibre spin-offs, excellent interdisciplinary research projects and institutions from all departments of the university will present themselves and their work and look forward to exchanging ideas with innovators and potential partners.

Motto: 'Innovation through collaboration'

IMPACT DAY 2026 has the motto ‘Innovation through collaboration’. The focus is on how scientific findings, technologies and ideas can be successfully applied through partnerships between universities, companies, start-ups and other drivers of innovation. Progress comes from working together, and IMPACT DAY 2026 brings this potential for university innovation to life, bringing partners together and providing impulses for the future.
