In the event series “HAIlight” we have been taking a look behind the scenes of the university together with you for more than 10 years now to brush up memories and discover sides of Ruperto Carola, that have been unrevealed during your time here. We get to know new sides of Heidelberg or gain exciting insights into life and work of our members and other people associated with the university. Be in for a surprise!

Wavehouse Campbell Heidelberg - Europe's largest 3D-printed building

Regional data centers are of great importance for a science city like Heidelberg and for an innovative business location like the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. After all, sophisticated applications in research and medicine, state-of-the-art IoT applications and complex AI models can only run if the data journey is short. Heidelberg iT operates a server hotel in the Wavehouse, Europe's largest 3D-printed building made of 100% recyclable material. Look forward to getting to know state-of-the-art construction and forward-looking entrepreneurship in Heidelberg on this guided tour.
