Inspiration, exchange and new ideas: hei_INNOVATION events in November

In November 2025, hei_INNOVATION invites founders, students and anyone interested in innovation to five events dedicated to exchange, courage and new perspectives. The series showcases the diversity of the innovation and start-up scene at Heidelberg University, promotes encounters and provides inspiration for individual projects.

The Female Founders Brunch on November 7, 2025, kicks off the series. The guest speaker is Dr Estelle Bonedeau, who holds a PhD in molecular biology and is CTO and co-founder of QuantiLight. She will talk about her journey as an entrepreneur, share the experiences she gained while founding her company, and discuss the challenges she faced.

On November 18, 2025, the Startup Date with Daniel Krauss, co-founder of Flix, will take place. Krauss will share how an initial idea grew into an internationally successful mobility company and provide exciting insights into the power of vision and team spirit.

The DeepTechHub Matchmaking and the START UPeritivo: Mix. Mingle. Magic. will follow directly on November 19, 2025. Both events bring together deep-tech enthusiasts, founders and researchers. The focus here is on exchange, collaboration and the opportunity to further develop innovative ideas and projects.

The Lunch & Learn ‘Female & Queer Voices’ on November 20, 2025, invites participants to join Prof. Dr Karen Nolte and Johannah Illgner in exploring diverse perspectives and considering how female and queer viewpoints shape research and social change.

The events in November demonstrate how diverse and vibrant the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship is at Heidelberg University. They offer inspiration, motivation, and the opportunity to discover your own potential – and perhaps take the first step toward your next big idea. Whether through lively talks or relaxed after-work networking, every event provides space for discussion, questions, and new connections.
