Exchange programs University of Toronto
Under a new exchange agreement, students at Heidelberg University can apply for a place at the University of Toronto. The University of Toronto is known for its diverse range of courses and high recognition worldwide in many research fields. The scholarship offers the waiver of tuition fees at the University of Toronto, other fees are to be paid by the students.

Language skills | Very good knowledge of English (TOEFL or IELTS required). |

You can apply for the exchange programs via an online platform. Information on the required documents can be found on our pages and in the FAQs. If you have any questions about the application process, the Study Abroad Infocenter of the International Relations Department will be happy to help you.
Only complete applications can be considered. For Toronto, a separate application with concrete study plans must be written in any case, as well as, in the best case, a report specifically for the University of Toronto. Subsequent submissions only after consultation with Ms. Doris Treichler.

- Online application form with passport photo
- Curriculum vitae with study history (1 page)
- study project with justification (1-2 pages)
- Two letters of recommendation from university professors
- Official transcript (list of courses, academic achievements incl. average grade with confirmation by the institute)
- TOEFL or IELTS score
- Confirmed copy of Bachelor's or intermediate examination certificate, if applicable
- Copy of high school diploma
