It includes an academic program as well as hands-on training at TSMC, a global leader in the semiconductor industry. | ||||
The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is launching the Seventeenth Round of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (the “Scheme”) for 2027/28 academic year intake. The Scheme aims to attract top international students to pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong’s world-class research universities. A total of 400 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies commencing in the 2027/28 academic year. Interested students are advised to consult with the International Office before applying. | ||||
The JSPS Summer Program provides opportunities for young pre- and post-doctoral researchers from North America and Europe to receive an orientation on Japanese culture and Japanese language lessons and to pursue research under the guidance of host researchers at a Japanese university or research institute over a period of two months during the summer. | ||||
To commemorate the pogrom of 9 November 1938, the State Parliament of Baden-Württemberg has, since 1988, provided the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts (MWK) with scholarship funds to promote Germany-Israel relations. As part of the bilateral exchange programmes with Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and Jagiellonian University in Kraków, there are still places available across a range of disciplines for the summer semester of 2027.

For study semesters, research stays or even entire Master’s programmes in Central, South-Eastern or Eastern Europe from the 2027/28 academic year onwards. The scholarship programme is open to students of all disciplines. It is also open to applicants who have had little or no previous contact with the countries of Central, South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. Acceptance into the scholarship programme entails membership of the Studienstiftung, and scholarship holders will continue to be supported by the Studienstiftung after their return. | ||||
As part of the programme, 15 scholarships will be awarded for a one-year study and language placement in the People’s Republic of China during the 2027/28 academic year. The programme enables interested students from all disciplines (except art, music and design) to explore the country during a one-year stay in line with their own academic and personal interests. | ||||
The Gini Foundation, in partnership with the University of Padova, is offering study and research grants for a total amount of €25,000. These grants are intended to support non-Italian graduates holding a Master of Science degree in disciplines related to agriculture, engineering, mathematical, physical and natural sciences. The grants support further studies or research at the University of Padova in the above-mentioned fields for a period ranging from a minimum of six months to a maximum of one year. | ||||
Life Science Researcher Training Program for Solving Global Issues is financially supported by the Japanese Government, MEXT. This program aims to train the international research pioneers in life sciences with hopes for a fruitful future in their home country. It provides scholarship to outstanding international students from any country to undertake a PhD or master course study at Graduate School of Life Science, Hokkaido University. | ||||
In partnership with Southern Cross University, full scholarships for a semester abroad in 2026/2027 will be offered, regardless of academic performance. The Tuition fees in Australia will be waived; in return, students will provide online insights into their daily student life and share their experiences from Down Under. | ||||

AsTW is a two-week study program at the undergraduate level, designed to deepen understandings of ASEAN and East Asian affairs. Since 2009, the Kyushu University has organized the program with our partner universities in ASEAN countries, in cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat and the ASEAN University Network (AUN). ASEAN in Today's World (AsTW) 2027 will be held February 21 – March 4, 2027, at Ateneo de Manila University. We welcome applicants from ASEAN countries and the rest of the world. The medium of instruction is English. | ||||

HKUST Summer School welcomes undergraduate students from institutions outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to study at HKUST in the summer. The program aims to create a rewarding summer experience for students around the world. Students can participate in the program for either 4 or 8 weeks. It offers a wide variety of undergraduate-level, credit-bearing courses taught by HKUST faculty and opportunities to participate in local excursions and cultural activities that enable students to gain insight into the region. Tohoku University Engineering Short Program (TESP) Winter 2026 is an intensive international program that combines research experience in Tohoku University laboratories with entrepreneurship-oriented, project-based learning. Participants work in multicultural teams to explore real-world social challenges, develop value propositions, consider implementation pathways, and connect specialized knowledge gained through laboratory activities to possible solutions for society. | ||||
The programme places health and disease processes within a complex socio-cultural context and provides a multi-faceted picture of medicine and its history. It takes into account various medical systems, such as the traditional medicine of the Mapuche and Aymara peoples and their worldviews. Course dates: 4 to 28 January 2027 | ||||
Apacheta is a four-week programme that combines Spanish language courses with ten seminars on the business world in Latin America and its cultural perspectives. The programme aims to help participants understand the cultural diversity of the Latin American market by familiarising them with customs and communication patterns, working together and learning to deal with differences.
