The International Relations Office provides workshops and tutorials designed to help international students overcome the linguistic and cultural challenges of studying in Germany.
Please note that our courses are mainly offered in German. Therefore good German language skills are required for participation. Occasionally courses are also offered in English. Please refer to the individual event pages for further information.

Individual Supervision of Term Papers
The International Relations Office offers individual support in writing a term paper. You have the possibility to arrange an individual consultation with the tutor and have your paper proofread. The work will be discussed together and you will receive tips on how to improve your work.
Workshop Intercultural Skills - German Spoken Offer
Studying and living in a foreign country poses many challenges – especially if you don’t speak the language of that country well. As an international student, this interactive workshop will help you to get along well at University and in daily life in Germany. Taking part as a buddy / tutor, you will learn how to best support international students.
Academic Writing - Term Papers - German-Spoken offer
Academic writing poses major challenges to students. How do I start? How do I need to formally structure my assignments? And what do the instructors expect? This task becomes even more daunting if you are supposed to do it in a foreign language.
