SEMESTER EVENTS PROGRAM HD-CONCERT
In the winter semester, the International Relations Office hosts a concert in the University’s Great Hall. The concert is free. Instead donations are collected for charity.
The HD-concert has been an ongoing tradition in the calendar of events hosted by the International Relations Office since the winter semester 1980/81. This series of concerts gives international students and researchers at Heidelberg University the opportunity to come together with music lovers in Heidelberg to enjoy performances by outstanding young musicians. Any proceeds raised through the events are donated to social causes in Heidelberg.
Piano and Chamber Music Concert

Kaan Baysal, Jan Čmejla and Anne Sophie Luong perform works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann, Pyotr Ilyich Tschaikowsky, Frédéric Chopin, Fazıl Say, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Astor Piazzolla.
Entry is free, but donations are encouraged.
All donations are transferred in full to the local homelessness charity, “Obdach e.V. Heidelberg”.
