Excursions CALENDAR WEEK 7 2026 - STRASBOURG

Discover the beautiful city in Alsace and experience how closely French, German, and European history are connected in this region.

After a city tour through Strasbourg's old town (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the former tanners' quarter “La Petite France”, we will visit the impressive Romanesque-Gothic cathedral with its unique astronomical clock

In the afternoon, we will head to the “European Quarter” together. In addition to a walk past the numerous European institutions, we will visit the European Parliament together. There, you can look forward to an exciting lecture in the modern visitor center, where you will learn more about the work and structure of the Parliament. You will also have the unique opportunity to briefly attend a plenary session and experience European politics live.

🚌 Departure: 8 a.m. at the Kurfürstenanlage bus platform (Heidelberg Central Station)

📝 Registration only on Monday, 26.01. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  (Attention: first come, first serve!) 

 

Practical information: 

A valid identity card (EU citizens) or a valid passport is mandatory for registration and entry into the European Parliament.
