Service and advice for international students Advisory and support services for international Students

The advisory team of the International Relations Office supports prospective and current international students aiming for a degree in Heidelberg with a comprehensive range of services related to their studies and stay. These services are also available to prospective and current international students coming to Heidelberg for short-term studies outside the framework of an exchange programme (free mover).

Study advisory service

The study advisory service of the International Relations Office provides information to prospective degree-seeking students from abroad about the study courses on offer, the study requirements, study preparation and the application modalities at Heidelberg University. In addition, admitted international student applicants and enrolled international students receive assistance with questions and problems relating to studying and living in Heidelberg, study organization, financing and visa/residence permit.

Your questions will be discussed individually and confidentially during the office hours in person as well as during the online consultation hours. You don't need an appointment for this, but you may have to expect a little waiting time. The study advisors are best reached by telephone outside of their respective consultation hours.
