Services for International StudentsFinancing Your Studies

Costs associated with living and for the degree programme amount to a total of min. EUR 850 per month.

International students from non-EU (European Union) and non-EEA (European Economic Area ) countries with a foreign university entrance qualification are also required to pay a tuition fee of EUR 1500 per semester for Bachelor’s and consecutive Master’s degree programmes (including short-term studies) at all institutions of higher education in Baden-Württemberg.

Due to the regulations as determined by the University as well as within the framework of the right of residence, it is not possible to finance the time spent studying at university through part-time work alone.  The study advisory service of the International Relations Office can provide you with information on labour law issues.

It is extremely important to ensure that you have sufficient funds to complete your academic programme in Germany prior to starting the programme.  For information on potential grants for studying in Germany, please contact the German diplomatic missions abroad (embassies, consulates), the Goethe-Institute or the branch offices of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
