You have to write a term paper and are disappointed with your performance from a previous semester? This offer supports international students in the writing process. Not only correct quotations and the formalities of a term paper can be learned. You can also train the correct use of scientific formulations, a clear structure and an understandable but correct way of writing and thus improve your own writing style.

You submit a previous term paper or essay and receive detailed written feedback regarding linguistic and structural weaknesses as well as formal mistakes.  Afterwards you can contact the teacher with specific questions to discuss the corrections and work out strategies to specifically address your weaknesses.

The offer is primarily aimed at students who are enrolled in a Bachelor's or State Examination degree study programme in the humanities or social sciences and who are aiming to graduate from Heidelberg University.

This course will be offered in German. Prerequisites are therefore good German language skills (min. Intermediate Course II).

Advice is provided digitally via e-mail and video conferencing and can be used at any time. There is no registration deadline.

The course is free, however, there are a limited number of places available. Participants are therefore required to register by email in advance of the course! Please register under welcome+success@zuv.uni-heidelberg.de
