Social Sustainability and Communication Dynamics
The symposium centers on theories, methodologies, and practices that expand our understanding of social sustainability and its communicative dynamics across Ibero-America and Europe, drawing on perspectives from both the social sciences and the humanities. The symposium seeks to encourage academic dialogue, advance knowledge, and support the training of the next generation of scholars in interdisciplinary Ibero-American studies. The keynote speeches and panel discussion are open to a wider audience.
The symposium is organized by the Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS) of Heidelberg University, in collaboration with the Facultad de Ciencias Sociales of Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile and the Heidelberg Center Latin America in Santiago de Chile.
