It is with great dismay that Heidelberg University has learnt of the terrible and senseless act of bloodshed and the many dead and injured at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University Prague. Our thoughts are with all the victims, their families, and all members of the university. Charles University has been one of Ruperto Carola’s closest partner universities for over 30 years. She has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire university community.
