idea competitionAssessment criteria

Feasibility

The jury assesses how likely the idea is to be realised. The more specifically an idea is described, the more accurately the jury can form a picture of the idea.

Desirability

Each identified problem should have a concrete relation to a situation and target group. For this reason, desirability assesses the importance and necessity of the problem and the solution derived from it in relation to the target group.

Viability

Regardless of economic or social added value, an idea should have a viable and sustainable basis. The viability category assesses whether the idea has the potential to be financially "self-sustaining". Profit maximisation as a maxim is not a prerequisite.

Sustainability

Sustainability has three dimensions: economic, ecological and social/societal sustainability. It is assessed whether an idea has a positive impact on not just one, but several dimensions.
