Student Jobs - Working Alongside Your Studies

As a student, you’re permitted to work for up to 20 hours per week. If you wish to work for more than 20 hours per week, you must seek permission from the Student Administration. Short phases of employment which require that you work in excess of 20 hours per week are exempt from the above rule - in such cases, you must provide a certificate from your employer.

Finding a Job via the Student Services Organisation (Studierendenwerk)

The Student services organisation at Heidelberg University aims to make it as easy as possible for students to find jobs which they can uphold during their studies. Students can make use of the job advertisements placed in the University’s info centres, as well as the online job board.
