The Personnel Development Department offers within the framework of the heiTRACKS career support for postdoctoral researchers a variety of services for their personal career development.
Our target group is postdocs, habilitation candidates, junior research-group leaders and junior professors with or without tenure-track.

All the programmes are designed without limitation to specific faculties. That will enable you to develop personal networks beyond your own field and will facilitate your interdisciplinary work and research.
We offer you different programmes and courses to develop non-subject-specific skills in accordance with your personal goals and needs. The range covers topics like leadership competence, communication, clearing up conflicts, or career planning. You can make an individual choice from this range on the basis of your needs, prior knowledge and the requirements at your institute or department.
With our career development measures, we support you in planning and implementing your next career steps, both in an academic context and outside the university. The advisory services focus on your individual concerns, questions and decisions. In this way, we support you in sharpening and achieving your goals.
