Description: Every individual can make a contribution to achieving the SGDs. The question is how? There are certainly many different ways to deal with it. This challenge comes from the digital agency of the city of Heidelberg, which has set itself the goal of empowering the citizens of Heidelberg to contribute to the development of a sustainable city.

The future of health care
Target group: Caregivers, doctors, nurses, CEOs and administration of clinics
Challenge Statement: How can we future-proof the hospitals in times of crises?
Description: The health sector is confronted with a multitude of challenges, including staff shortages, rapidly rising costs, and an increasing amount of health risks as the impact of climate change continues to increase. While the health sector constitutes a critical part of a country’s infrastructure, caregivers, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals have to work under physically and mentally challenging conditions. As challenges for the health sector continue increase, we need more sustainable solutions to accelerate digitalisation, close the funding gap and build climate resilience.
