    The dissertation was completed in May 2020. Agnes Gehbald has been working as a research assitant at the University of Bern since June 2021.
     
  • Caterina Mantilla Oliveros, Movilidad, cimarronaje y territorio. Arqueología histórica en los Montes de Maria, 1655-1820 [Universität zu Köln, supervisor].
    The dissertation was completed in December 2020. Since April 2021, Caterina Mantilla is teaching at the Universidad Surcolombiana in Columbia.
     
  •  Justus Hillebrand, To Know the Land with Hands and Minds: How Farmers and Scientists Made Rural Modernities in New England and Westphalia, 1840-1914 [University of Maine / University of Köln, supervisor as part of a binational PhD/cotutelle de thèse].
    The dissertation was completed in July 2021.
     
  • Daniela Serra, De la naturaleza a la vitrina. Claudio Gay, la práctica naturalista en Chile y la formación del Gabinete de Historia Natural de Santiago (1800–1843) [Universidad de Chile, co-supervisor].
    The dissertation was completed in August 2019. Daniela Serra works today in the Chilean Ministry of Culture, Department of Cultural Heritage (Subsecretaría del Patrimonio Cultural). 
     
  • Miguel Rosas Buendía, Mariano de Rivero y un diálogo tecnológico con el mundo andino [Brown University, co-supervisor].
    The dissertation was completed in May 2019. Miguel Rosas Buendía now teaches at the Georgia Tech University.
     
  • Melina Teubner, A arte de cozinhar. Sklavenschiffköche, Ernährung und Diaspora im südlichen Atlantik (c. 1800 – 1870) [University of Cologne, co-supervisor].
    The dissertation was completed in December 2018 abgeschlossen. Melina Teubner now works as a research assistant at the University of Bern.

    The dissertation was completed in January 2018. Ricardo Castellón now teaches at the University of Cologne.
