Overview of Current Instrumentation
The facility is currently operating the following mass spectrometers (chronological order of installation):
- Bruker timsTOFfleX ion mobility-quadrupole-time-of-flight (IM-Q-TOF) for ESI, APCI, MALDI
- JEOL AccuTOF GCx orthogonal-accelaration time-of-flight (oaTOF) mass spectrometer for EI, FI, LIFDI, and GC-MS
- Bruker Autoflex Speed axial time-of-flight mass spectrometer for MALDI
- Waters SQD2 linear quadrupole instrument with UPLC and APCI source
- Bruker ApexQe Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometer for ESI, DART, MALDI
Most of the figures stated on resolving power, mass accuracy, and mass range in table below are meant give an estimate of typical uses rather than strict reproduction of the manufacturers' specifications, and thus, are by no means strict borderlines. For pictures and more details select the respective instrument from the submenu on the left.
