Bruker Autoflex speed MALDI-TOF Instrument

Due to the recent demand for the analysis of large molecules by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI), a dedicated MALDI-time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer has been acquired and installed in October 2015.

The Bruker Autoflex Speed MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer provides LDI and MALDI analysis of samples ranging from low (m/z 50) to high mass (m/z >> 10,000). The analyzer features linear and reflector mode. While linear mode is especially usefull for molecules above m/z 10,000 reflector mode offers a high level of mass resolving power and mass accuracy. Depending on the choice of matrix and sample properties, isotopic patterns can be well resolved up to about m/z 8000. 

This instrument is the only one that can also be operated by our customers themselves, provided they have received a thourough instruction. Please ask for one to be arranged if required.
