Philipp Schulte, M.A.
Profile:
I have been a PhD candidate at the Curt Engelhorn Chair in American History since October 2016. Before I studied History, Economics and Political Science in Heidelberg, Paris, Potsdam and Kaliningrad. In 2015 I completed the German-French dual Master’s degree in History at Heidelberg University and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Since November 2017 I have been receiving the scholarship of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. Before I received the Schurman Scholarship for American History, and the scholarship of the Landesgraduiertenförderung (LGF) Baden-Württemberg. In 2018 I was Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in New York City and Doctoral Fellow of the German Historial Institute in Washington D.C.
