Capella Carolina

New members for the winter term are welcome! Group auditions are held 45 minutes (7:15 p.m.) before the regular rehearsal starts. Feel free to join us until October 30th. No individual auditions required!

As member of the ISZ, our choirs do not only consist of international singers but we also build up international friendships. We stay in contact with our friends all over the world by going on concert trips. Camerata Carolina regularly presents its programm at various locations in Alsace.

International Festival at Lake Constance 2015

Music by Czech Composers: F.X. Brixi (Motet "Scapulis suis"), A. Dvořák (Mass in D Major), P. Eben (Prague's Te Deum) and L. Janaček (Pater noster)

 

Rememberence Concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of concentration camp Bergen-Belsen's liberation

With Jewish music Camerata Carolina participated in a rememberence concert in the main theatre of the NDR in Hannover.

World Choir Games in Riga, July 9 - 19, 2014

Among over 200 choirs from all over the world Camerata Carolina came in sixth in the Open Competition and gained gold!

Concert tour to Eriwan (Armenia), September 26 - Oktober 6, 2005

Program:

  • Brahms, A German Requiem
  • Mozart, Sakramentslitanei KV 243 / Coronation Mass
  • Romantic Choral Music and German Folksongs
  • Komitas: Armenian setting of German literature (world premiere)

Camerata Carolina gave concerts in the State Opera House as well as in the Philharmonics of Eriwan, among others.

Concert tour to Prague (Czech Republic), July 20-21, 2019

Capella Carolina travelled to Prague to present Mozart's "Requiem" together with the choir and the orchestra of the Faculty of Education of the Charles University.

Concert tour to Sevilla (Spain), March 24-29, 2004
