New website
The website of the IBF has been completely overhauled. We hope that the slimmer new layout will improve accessibility. You can find the new site via:

The old website is going to be decommissioned in the coming weeks, new forms etc. will only be included in the new site. Have fun exploring!
Animal research seminars
There are going to be various opportunities for you to undertake your further regular training. You can find the whole list of seminars at:

Course "Animal research basics and experimental methods" - now in english!
The IBF is going to offer two courses this year, which will be completely in english. But there are no fixed dates yet. If you or one of your colleagues would be interested, please contact our course administration.
Responsibilities animal welfare officers
The responsibilities of our animal welfare officers are going to change from February 1st 2016. Please see the updated list.
In vivo imaging in the mouse hotel
Since december there is the possibility for in vivo imaging experiments in the mouse hotel. For that purpose, there is an IVIS setup from Perkin-Elmer. It can be booked after prior briefing and signing the terms of use. It can be booked after registration via the mouse hotel surgery calendar
Animal welfare
Be advised to check whether you have included all neccesary information regarding your animal experiments according to the ARRIVE guidelines or alternatively the gold-standard list. The relevant housing information is going to be added to our website under "Areas".
