How to find us

The guesthouses are centrally located on the campus Im Neuenheimer Feld. Numerous institutes and facilities of the university, as well as the cafeteria and grocery stores are within walking distance. The DKFZ, several university hospitals and the Max Planck Institutes for Medical Research and International Law are in the immediate vicinity. Also, institutes in the old town, e.g. on the campus Bergheim, can be reached quickly by bike, bus or tram. Besides, there are leisure facilites such as the Botanical Garden, the Tiergartenschwimmbad (outdoor swimming pool) or the Heidelberg Zoo in the immediate vicinity of the Guesthouses.

From the city centre (Bismarckplatz):

• Bus line 31 to Neuenheim, Campus, get off at stop "Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld" or
• Bus line 32 to Neuenheim, Campus, get off at stop "Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld" or
• Tram line 26 to Kirchheim Friedhof, get off at stop " Betriebshof" and change to bus line 20 to Neuenheim, Sportzentrum Nord, get off at stop „Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld“.

The Heidelberg University Guesthouses are about a three-minute walk from the bus stop „Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld“ and a 10-minute walk from the tram stop „Jahnstraße“.

From Heidelberg main station, cross the Ernst-Walz-Bridge, take the left lane to „Chirurgie / DKFZ“ and turn into Jahnstraße. Please park your car outside the barrier of the Kirschnerstraße in the parking lot on the right, opposite the Institute of Pathology.

Short-term parking for loading and unloading at the Guesthouses is possible after consulting with the guesthouse adminstration.
