The competition “Female Influencers of the 19th Century” develops digital portraits of the work of emancipated women in the male-dominated society of the 19th century. Using digital media – a video, podcast, Instagram story or graphic novel – students at Heidelberg University imagined what our world would look like if their female role model of the 19th century had never lived or what she would do if she were alive today.
To reward the best projects, we cordially invite you to an award ceremony on 9 January 2020 at the Kurpfälzisches Museum. The selection panel will introduce the best projects as well as the winners of the competition and present the prizes. The best digital portraits will be displayed at the Kurpfälzisches Museum.
