Welcome to the world of conference interpreting at Heidelberg University! Join our German-English tour with interpreting services provided by the School of Translation and Interpreting and find out more about some of the less well-known university buildings in the old part of the city.
Setting out from University Square (Lion’s Fountain), we will explore the fascinating history of buildings our students walk past every day – including our own multifarious premises off Plöck and beyond the Bunsen-Palais. There, finally, you are invited to take a look behind the scenes and gain an insight into the different modes of interpreting that exist and how these skills are acquired.
