South-South Development Cooperation (SSDC)
Chances and Challenges for the International Aid Architecture
In September 2014 the Research Center for Distributional Conflict and Globalization
hosted an interdisciplinary Workshop on “South-South Development Cooperation: Chances and Challenges for the International Aid Architecture” that was jointly organized by Andreas Fuchs, Dana de la Fontaine, Katharina Richert and Jivanta Schöttli. This is a forum for economists, political scientists, sociologists, geographers and other researchers to present their research on South-South Development Cooperation. The goal of the workshop was to stimulate the exchange of ideas and discuss research in a relaxed atmosphere.

Call for Papers
The deadline to submit papers has passed. Interested researchers were asked to submit full papers (preferred) or abstracts by July 11, 2014

Submission of full papers
Please send your final paper to your discussant by Friday, September 19, 2014. In addition, kindly submit a copy of your paper to katharina.richert@awi.uni-heidelberg.de if you agree that your paper gets posted on the workshop website (www.uni-heidelberg.de/ssdc).
Session organization
25 minutes are reserved for each paper. Presentations will be 15 minutes, each discussant has 3 minutes and 7 minutes are foreseen for the overall discussion. Session chairs are responsible for keeping the time.
