Research Associate and PhD Candidate

   

Katharina Richert holds a Master’s degree from Göttingen University in “International Economics”. Before she came to Heidelberg University she completed the Postgraduate Programme at the German Development Institute (DIE) and subsequently worked as research associate for the institute. Since September 2013 she is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher and research associate at the Chair of International and Development Politics. Her main research interests are in aid effectiveness, impact evaluation, quality of development cooperation and globalization linked to poverty reduction.
