PFIF
Partners for International Friendship / Gastwissenschaftlertreff
Program: outings and excursions
Dear Guest Scholars and Families
we want to welcome you warmly to Heidelberg and to introduce ourselves.
PFIF, which stands for "Partners for International Friendship" or "Partner für internationale Freundschaft", is a group organized by volunteers associated with the various academic institutions here. In addition to
- the Heidelberg University
- the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ)
- the European Laboratory for Molecular Biology (EMBL)
- and the Max-Planck Institutes
are involved.
PFIF offers advice and help to all guest scholars and their families. Every Wednesday (with the exception of school vacations and holidays) PFIF invites you to the "Guest House" (Im Neuenheimer Feld 370/371, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm) for coffee and cake. This meeting is intended to help give you answers to questions about daily life and to assist you with problems that might arise. You will be able to meet other guests and form new friendships. Our meetings also offer suggestions for your free time activities and culture trips or are devoted to a particular theme.
You will find outings and excursions listed in our program.
