Lindau Alumni Retreat

Our conference “Lindau Alumni Retreat” will take place in the beautiful city of Heidelberg from 19–22 September 2019. This annual retreat was first launched in 2018 with the goal to gather scientists who attended the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings (Physiology and Medicine) from around the world. Our first retreat took place in Frankfurt am Main with 12 Lindau alumnni and covered several life science areas, such as immunology, genetics, oncology and neuroscience. Our format features oral presentations of current research by the participants and open discussions about broad science-related topics, as well as several occasions for networking. We are supported by the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings and it is an important aspect of our retreat to host participants coming from Germany and abroad.
