Daniel Finke accepted a position at Aarhus University starting in June 2015.

Welcome!

I am a junior professor in political science at Heidelberg University. My research interests include the comparative analysis of  international institutions, foreign policy making, European Union politics and decision making in multilevel political systems. Currently my research focuses on the effective parliamentary scrutiny of international and foreign policy making. Furthermore, I am continuing my research on the domestic origins of governments' European and, more generally, foreign policy preferences.

The reminder of this website presents more about my research and teaching activities.
