Sreeja Jaiswal is a Humboldt Foundation’s International Climate Protection Postdoc Fellow at the University of Heidelberg. Presently she is working on estimating the impact of India’s protected area policies on labor market and environmental outcomes. Previously, she has worked in MS Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai where she supervised projects on equity and justice in climate policy, climate finance, and climate change and agriculture.  She has served as a member of the Government of India’s delegation to IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report's Working Group II and  III  approval plenaries. Her research interests include impact of infrastructure, equity and justice in climate policy, climate change negotiations, climate finance, and climate change and agriculture. She has published on impact evaluation of infrastructure projects, environmental politics around large infrastructure projects and on issues of justice and equity in the international climate change regime. She has a PhD in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
