Aniversary matinée

November 1, 2025 

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Heidelberg University Office Kyoto (HUOK), a celebration will be held in Kyoto on November 1, 2025, in the presence of Heidelberg University's Rector Frauke Melchior. The anniversary matinée (poster) will feature musical performances related to Heidelberg, including a video performance by the university orchestra conducted by University Music Director Michael Sekulla, as well as live music. In addition, various speeches will review the last 10 years of work at the branch office, and researchers, alumni, students, and friends will speak on selected topics.
