About the Project

TopLab is a joint service of Heidelberg University Hospital, Heidelberg University and the Medical Faculty Mannheim.

TopLab is coordinated and implemented by an interdisciplinary team consisting of employees of the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, the Personnel Development and Dual Career Service Department, and the Medical Faculty Mannheim.

The scientific monitoring of TopLab is held by Prof. Dr Joachim Kirsch, associate dean of the Medical Faculty Heidelberg and managing director of the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, as well as PD Dr Cordula Harter, teaching coordinator at the Heidelberg University Biochemistry Center (BZH).

The concept of TopLab originates in an idea once awarded and taken up by the Idea Management of Heidelberg University.
