Short Bio

Sarah Nohr earned a master's degree in economics from the University of Cologne in 2011. She was a research assistant at the German Development Institute (DIE) in Bonn from 2009 to 2011. Since 2011, she has been working at the German Development Bank's (KfW) Evaluation Department in the field of health project evaluations.

Her research focuses on the economics of health in low-income countries,

in particular on determinants of demand for preventive measures. In 2013, she conducted a randomized field experiment in Eastern Province of Zambia to analyze the structure of the demand for condoms in rural areas. This field work forms the basis for her dissertation research.
