Research Interests:
The central nervous system develops from neural stem cells that generate all neurons and glial cells of the brain in a highly ordered fashion. Our group is interested how the environment or stem cell niche influences cell fates decisions and how neural stem cells integrate signals from the niche by using cell biological, molecular and genetic approaches.
