The exhibition “Clara Schumann: Artist – Businesswoman – Mother” will come to a close with the tribute “Lass das Träumen, Lass das Zagen!” featuring a choir concert and pieces for two pianos. The programme includes Clara Schumann’s only choral composition consisting of three choruses for four-part choir after poems by Emanuel Geibel from 1848, the year of the revolution. Other works to be performed include choral pieces and works for women’s voices as well as piano pieces by Clara Schumann and by Robert Schumann, by Clara Schumann’s half-brother Woldemar Bargiel and her friend Johannes Brahms.
There will be a final tour of the exhibition after the concert.
