Angelika Budjan is a PhD candidate at the Chair of International and Development Politics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher. Her research focuses on the challenges that arise from the changing international donor landscape and the necessity to mainstream environmental sustainability into poverty alleviation.
She holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Bayreuth University. Before joining the AWI Angelika has worked in applied research with different international and non-governmental organizations, for instance with the European Commission and the International Red Cross (IFRC).
During the summer term of 2020, Angelika will be on maternity leave.
