The death of the whole person in the protestant theology of the present

This research project is about the understanding of death of the whole human being. This concept gained acceptance in the protestant theology during the 20th century and is now well recognized. The concept of the death of the whole person is standing in opposition to the doctrine of an indestructible soul or any immortality.

This script marks the theological-historical progress of the death of the whole person. In the current debate it indicates an independent position by putting the present discussion’s arguments into a unique pattern of reasoning. In the context of biblical anthropology it is looked for identity of men between the tensions of death and faith in resurrection.
