Generation 59+

On behalf of the Protestant Church in Baden (Evangelische Landeskirche in Baden) the Institute for the Study of Christian Social Service evaluates the project ‘Generation 59plus’ which addresses the topic of demographic and social change and seizes it as an opportunity. The growing number of elderly people is considered as a source of potential for the Church and seen as an opportunity to tackle the challenges of ageing in a constructive way. During the project, two model projects are evaluated; new forms of social work for the elderly are developed and put into practice and new ways to integrate elderly people especially in rural areas are established.
