Functions:

  • Technical and sientific staff for lab organisation
  • Development and support for analysis of arsenic-species (As(III) and As(V))
  • Support for  ICP-OES and other analytical domains
  • Support in the actual scientific projects of the Institute
  • Operative implementation of field campagnes
  • Teaching in bachelor and master courses

 

Analytik:

  • ICP-OES (Agilent ICP-OES 720 und Varian Vista MPX)  -  Elemental analysis in solutions and digestions
    • Multielement analysis (cations) in different solutions like water samples or eluates, as well as digestion solutions of soil and sediments.
  • Analysis of arsenic species (As(III) und As(V))
    • Analysis of arsenic species in water samples and eluates with Hydride Generation. An ICP-AES (Agilent ICP-OES 720) is used for detection. The method offers the possibility for quantification of As(III) and As(V) in natural and synthetic samples.
