Fabrication, Characterization and Integration of Organic Thin-Film Transistors

In this project we will try to improve the performance and long-term stability of organic n-channel transistors und complementary organic integrated circuits. For this purpose we will mainly employ the organic semiconductors synthesized in the projects A01, A02, A03 and A04. Through systematic comparisons of the results we will be able to reveal important structure-property relationships. For each new semiconductor we will conduct a series of tests to find the optimum process conditions. Based on selected semiconductors we will fabricate integrated circuits to demonstrate the potential of novel organic semiconductors for real applications.
