International cooperation Apply now for “Innovators Connect – Tandem 2025”

Young researchers and early-stage start-up founders from India and Germany are invited to apply for Innovators Connect – Tandem 2025, a two-week immersion programme taking place from 10 to 20 November 2025 in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The programme brings together participants from both countries to collaborate in teams, develop market-ready ideas from research, and explore the innovation ecosystems of India and Germany.
Participants will engage in design thinking workshops, mentoring sessions, lab and industry visits, intercultural training, and expert talks. The programme is designed to foster collaboration across borders, encourage knowledge transfer, and provide structured support for bringing research-based innovations to market. Selected candidates will benefit from exposure to diverse start-up environments and opportunities to connect with peers, investors, and innovation stakeholders from both countries.
What makes this programme unique is its strong focus on real-world application and collaboration. Participants gain direct access to the innovation ecosystems of both countries, receive hands-on training with experienced mentors, and work in international, interdisciplinary teams. The goal is to develop ideas with the potential for incubation and market entry. In addition, the programme offers access to a growing Indo-German network of entrepreneurs, funders, and innovation leaders.
Eligible applicants include PhD students, postdocs, and early-stage start-up founders (within two years of incorporation) with a strong academic background in nature and life science and an interest in applying their research to real-world challenges. Applicants must be affiliated with partner institutions in India or research organisations in Germany.
Travel and accommodation for participants is supported by DWIH New Delhi and its partners. The deadline to apply is 20 July 2025.
